Marcus founded Luxe Cuts in 2019 with a vision to blend old-school barbering with modern style. With over 15 years behind the chair, he's known for his precision fades and creative designs.

His approach is simple — listen first, cut with intent, and make sure every client leaves looking and feeling sharp. Marcus trained with master barbers in Chicago before moving to Portland and opening Luxe Cuts in the Pearl District.

When he's not behind the chair, you'll find him riding his motorcycle or teaching barber workshops for newer barbers entering the craft.

Jade brings a fresh perspective to the chair with an eye for texture and detail. Trained in both barbering and cosmetology, she specializes in modern cuts and razor techniques that keep clients coming back.

Her approach focuses on understanding each client's hair type, lifestyle, and personal style — no one-size-fits-all cuts. She's particularly skilled with curly and textured hair, and has built a loyal following of clients who trust her with their most complex hair goals.

Jade joined Luxe Cuts in 2021 after working at a high-end salon in Seattle. Portland brought her back closer to family and into the barbering culture she loves.

Deon is the go-to barber for a classic experience. From hot towel shaves to perfectly tapered cuts, he treats every client like family. Known for making first-timers feel right at home.

His strength is consistency — the cut you got last time is the cut you'll get this time, and if something's off, he'll make it right. Deon apprenticed under Marcus for two years before earning a chair of his own at Luxe Cuts in 2023.

He's especially popular with clients booking their first barbershop visit after years of going elsewhere — patient, conversational, and detail-oriented without rushing.
